A Ponytail is a Quick Fix to Look Put Together!

Who would have ever thought that a ponytail can be a classy, sophisticated and just the thing you need to pull off looking put together? It's true. We all know the saying, "less is more" and these days a ponytail (done properly) can pull your outfit together to give the perfect impression. The pony is no longer just for the gym or when you have nothing to do with your hair, it can be a well thought-out staple you will wear confidently.
Corporate Setting - Think about it this way, if you have a meeting (or anytime) and you want to look polished, a slick long pony can be your saving grace. You will look neat, polished and the focus will be on YOU. Your hairstyle will not be a distraction no matter how good or bad it is. I work from home and I always feel put together. Tasteful make-up to enhance your beauty will be a corporate WIN!
Summer & Humid Weather - I love the ponytail for date night, especially in the summer when outdoors. If you are like me and have thinner or thinning hair the summer air is not your friend. Now if you live in states prone to humitity and turn up the heat like Florida or Texas, summertime can be a nightmare for your hair when you go out. Girlfriend, do yourself a favor and go back to the old reliable ponytail! How many times have you spent hours getting ready only to look like a hot mess by the time you get into the car? I've done it a million times and it leaves me saying very bad words and feeling awful after I spent that much time getting ready.
The Wimpy Ponytail Syndrome
Yes, I'm there. I can just hear you now, I don't have that kind of cool ponytail! I didn't either. I often tease that I have such a wimpy pony that I look like a three year old before they had enough hair for a ponytail. Thank goodness there is a quick fix for the instant long ponytail. You can put it in, in less than three minutes and you are going to love the results.
Selecting your new hair
I always use human hair. You can curl it and it holds up so much better in the wind and rain and what ever else you throw at it. Amazon has a wide variety and I like Amazon because as we all know, if you hate it you can send it back. Make sure you check the return policy. I have the best luck with color when I take a picture of my hair and load it on the screen I am looking at to choose the color. Monitors and phones have different settings so if the image you just took is on your phone, chances are the screen will have the same highlights and color settings.
I like the ones with the wrap-around "tail" because you can easily cover up your original wimpy ponytail. Take a look at my video for a quick tutorial and to see how quick you can make a difference.
